Abhijit Phanse is the CEO of the Accelon group of companies: UnitedLayer, a premier North American Datacenter Colocation and Managed Services company; UnitedPrivateCloud, the leading global Software-Defined Private Cloud company; and UNITYCloud, a SaaS MultiCloud Management company. Abhijit is a partner at Accelon, an investment firm focused on next-generation cloud technologies.

Abhijit has 18 years of experience in starting, growing, and leading technology businesses. Previously, Abhijit was the co-founder and CEO of Scintera (acquired by NYSE: INPHI and NASDAQ: MXIM). Scintera is the leading provider of high-performance signal processors for the data centre and wireless networks. Prior to Scintera, Abhijit held leadership positions at National Semiconductor, where he led the development and commercialisation of three generations of Ethernet Networking products and contributed to writing Ethernet standards.

Abhijit has an MS in Management from Stanford Business School, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He has authored numerous publications and has over 50 US patents. He enjoys windsurfing, hiking, and playing the Beatles on his Fender Stratocaster. He and his wife have two young sons.
